January 2012 to Present - Football League Paper Since January 2012 I have been working as a freelancer for The Football League Paper. My job is to write a quotes-led match report within an hour of the final whistle with quotes from both managers as well as stats on the final whistle including attendance, star man and referee rating. Up to now, I have covered around five matches at Burton Albion as well as Burnley vs. Coventry and Brighton vs. Birmingham.

October 2011 to Present - Burton Albion Football Club I am currently helping out the Press Officer at Burton Albion writing articles for their match day programme and website as well as producing TV Packages for Brewers Player, their online TV channel. I have conducted interviews with players both face-to-face and via telephone as well as taking photographs on match days of the match day atmosphere and the fans.
Shoot Magazine
April to August 2011 - Shoot Magazine For a short period of time I became Shoot's Brighton and Hove Albion blogger - (www.shoot.co.uk). I had a number of articles published on the website as well as one published in the July edition of their online magazine taking a look back at Brighton's season but unfortunately had to stop because of other journalism commitments.
Crawley Town Football Club
December 2011 to May 2012. In May 2012 began an internship as Media Assistant. Crawley Town Football Club After helping Bruce Talbot in the media department at Crawley I was offered the chance to be their Media Assistant on an internship for six months. My roles include co-ordinating Junior Reds, writing and supplying regular content online and the programmes, content for Reds Player and aiding Bruce whenever needed.
Sussex Newspapers
May 2011 to Present - Sussex Newspapers I completed a four week work placement at the West Sussex County Times on the sports desk. During my time at the paper I covered a wide range of sports from American Football to bowls and baseball. I conducted a number of telephone interviews with managers, coaches and captains as well as a few face-to-face interviews including one with a rally driver. I also dealt with press releases and wrote match reports for football and cricket. I also had articles published in the Crawley Observer, Crawley Times and Sussex Express during my time there. I continue to write for the paper whenever needed and have a good relationship with Allan Norbury, Head of Sport.
